GATE 2021 Registration Ends Tomorrow

GATE 2021: The online registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE 2021) ends tomorrow, September 30, 2020. The application process began on September 11, 2020.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the GATE 2021 exam at appsgate.iitb.ac.in. However, online registration with late fee will be accepted till 7 October.

The GATE 2021 examination is to be held on February 5,6, 7,12,13 and 14, 2021 at various centers spread across the country. The examination will be conducted in two shifts (foreignon and noon).

The results of the GATE 2021 examination are to be declared on 22 March 2021.

Candidates filling the application form will have to pay Rs 1500, which will be increased from October 1 to Rs 2000. Along with the reserved category, women candidates will have to pay Rs 750 and the fee will have to be increased to Rs 1250 after the deadline.

Gate 2021: Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or a master’s degree in any relevant science subject.
2. Candidates with a backlog (unsuccessful subject) in any subject in their qualification examination will have to upload a copy of any marksheet of the final year issued from the institution where they were appearing for their qualifying examination. It should be noted that the Internet downloaded marksheet will not be accepted in any circumstances.
3. SC / ST category candidates will have to upload a valid official document proof confirming their identity to get concession in application fee.
4. If the candidate is expected to complete his / her course, he / she will have to upload a certificate or a copy of the marksheet from the head of the department / institute. This certificate must essentially have the signature and seal of the head of the institute / department with the current date.

• Click on the link that reads, “GATE online application portal is live. Click Here to apply”, on the homepage
• Click on ‘Register Here’ at the end of the new web page and fill in your details.
• Sign in using your Register ID
• Fill the online application form and note the registration number/application number
• Upload scanned images of your latest photograph and signature
• Pay the application fee
