Apple ‘Hi Speed’ Event: Technology giant Apple is scheduled to host its launch event on Tuesday (October 13) and it is expected that the Cupertino-based company will use the grand event to unveil the much-awaited iPhone 12 lineup.

The event will take place virtually and Apple may unveil four new iPhone models with 5G support during the event. Apple is formally calling the event “Hi, Speed”.

The Apple event will begin at 10 am PDT (10:30 pm IST) today and will be hosted virtually from Apple Park. It will also be streamed live on the dedicated Apple Event site and YouTube. To view the event live, you must be logged into the Apple Events site.

If rumors are to be believed, Apple will launch four new iPhone models at this event called iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 mini. All new models will have 5G support and American versions of these smartphones will be equipped with antennae for faster, mm-wave frequencies. Apple is also expected to unveil its new HomePod (read HomePod Mini) or over-the-year headphones.
