New Delhi: The Bombay High Court today heard the bail plea of actor Rhea Chakraborty and his brother Shovik, who have been jailed for nearly three weeks on drug-related charges related to the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput, which will now pass an order in the case soon.
Rhea Chakraborty, who was found guilty in film star Sushant Singh Rajput case, was arrested on September 9 on charges of organizing drugs for her.

In court, his lawyer Satish Maneshinde argued that Sushant Singh Rajput was the only person who used drugs and had started the habit before his relationship with Rhea Chakraborty.

According to the lawyer of Rhea, “If Actor Sushant Singh Rajput were alive today, he would have been punished for the punishment under Section 27, which means jail ranging from six months to one year. The Narcotics Control Bureau opposed the bail, saying the siblings bought the drugs not for their own use but to supply to Sushant Singh Rajput, a “more serious crime” related to the funding of the drugs.
