Vaccine For Covid-19 Expected At Beginning Of Next Year Can’t Be Possible In this year CCMB Director Mishra

Hyderabad: According to the Top Officials of the CSIR-CCMB Said on Saturday that A vaccine for COVID-19 cannot be expected before early next year, as this vaccine process involves a lot of clinical trials and data testing.

A Day After the ICMR Said they are aiming to launch the World’s first Covid-19 Vaccine By August 15. The Director Of CSIR- Centre for cellular and molecular Biology Rakesh k Mishra said, the ICMR’s sent letter in this regard and aimed at putting the pressure on hospitals to get ready for the Clinical Human Trials.

Rakesh Mishra Said, If Everything goes absolutely as we plan, then we are talking about to the six to eight months, of something that we have the vaccine, because it required a large number of test, as it is not like the other drug that if somebody feels sick and we give and see if it is working or not.

when talked about the possibility of the vaccine if it becoming ready by August 15. In regards of this, the Indian Council of Medical Research on Friday wrote to select the medical institutions and hospitals just to fast-track clinical trial approvals for the Covid-19 vaccine candidate Covaxin, Which is being developed in collaboration with Bharat Biotech, that is the city-based vaccine maker, which plans to release on August 15.

Mishra Added that Actually Vaccine Development always takes many years, but now we are in that crucial phase where can not take that much time, so maybe the beginning of the next year if the Vaccine clicks, we can expect, that next year, but not before that, for sure.

He demonstrates that thousands of people are given vaccine during this clinical trials and for every single dose we have to wait for the data and results, Which normally takes months, he said, CCMB is currently doing the 400-500 Covid-19 tests every day and also had sent proposals to the ICMR For Undertaking a new Way of testing.

he said, they are doing a lot of tests, but we have limitations that we can’t go beyond a certain number, but we had proposed to the ICMR a new way of Testing, It is a Shorter Method. It can be done is a safer way which will take half of the time. It is less expensive and less also required less human resources. But we are still waiting for the ICMR to give an advisory on this.
