Deadline to Renew the Registration of vehicles

The Lucknow Regional transport office (RTO) has issued a 30 day deadline to renew the registration of the vehicle. The order was issued by RTO that the registration renewal of the vehicle must be done by all the vehicles that have completed 15 years of the registration.
An efficiency test will be conducted to determine which vehicle is unfit for usage. And those vehicles that are determined unfit for usage after 15 years will be surrendered to the authorities.
To improve the quality of the service delivery and also the quality of the work environment of the RTOs, the government has launched an E-Parivahan App.

Duties of Enforcement Officers:

Fines are been charged for offences. Similarly fines are charged for unregistered vehicles. For the first offence the amount of fine charges is Rs. 5000 and for the following one it is Rs. 10,000. The motive of charging such amounts of fine is to check the pollution and also the efficiency of the energy of the old cars.

Nowadays E-Challan are generated. They are an electronically generated challan which is issued to the traffic rules defaulters.

The duty which is given to the enforcement officers is to take into account the quantity of vehicles which are unregistered and how many have an invalid registration, and then accordingly take actions.

Breaking traffic rules are not just offences which have punishments and fines, but are also certain annoyances which you can avoid. You should get your vehicle tested and prevent yourself from such fines and penalties.
