Honda Hornet 2.0 launched in India

Honda Motorcycle Scooter India has now launched the new Honda Hornet 2.0. Honda Hornet 2.0 will now be the flagship mass market Honda bike in India. This bike is based on an all new platform. This bike has been launched in the hyper competitive 200cc segment.
Pre bookings for this has been started. The assurance of deliveries by the first week of September has been given. This bike will be offered with a 6year warranty package. It will include 3 years standard plus 3 years optional extended warranty. This bike gives a very stylish look. It comes with a split seat. Honda Hornet 2.0. Comes with all around LED lighting packages. This includes the headlamp, position lamp, indicators on the sides, and an X shaped LED tail lamp.

Honda Hornet 2.0 Features:

• This is a high technology bike. It comes with amazing features which will set it apart from
the bikes available in the market. It comes with fully digital negative liquid crystal meter
which displays information like gear position, service due reminder and a battery. This
display system is unique as you can manually adjust the brightness of the screen up to 5
different illumination levels.

• It is claimed by the company that there are around 6 new patent applications used in
development of this bike. This bike comes with wider tubeless tyres at front which is
110mm and rear which is 140mm.

2. Matte Sangria Red Metallic
3. Matte Axis Grey Metallic

   • This bike will come with Dual Petal Disc Brakes with single channel ABS and mono shock
   rear suspension. One more interesting feature of this bike is this that it has new engine stop
   switch which provides the convenience of turning-off the engine on brief stops with flick
   of a switch. This has LED lights all over it. Honda Hornet 2.0 gets segment first golden inverted forks with mono-shock while the braking duties are tended to by the front and rear
   disc brakes with the single-channel ABS. Another amazing feature of this bike is that it
   comes with a hazard switch to turn the caution light on.
   Hornet 2.0 performance:
   • In the launch it was revealed that the engine will make about 17bhp of peak power at
   8,500rpm and 16.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.
   • Honda has claimed that this high technology bike will deliver a high class mid-range
   torque.
   • This bike will increase fuel efficiency and give best results. This bike also offer a brand
   new BS VI-compliant 184cc PGM-FI HET engine. PGM-Fi system uses 8 onboard sensors
   to regularly inject fuel and air mixture, this was claimed by the company.
   Honda Hornet 2.0 which has been launched in India at around ₹1.27 lakh. It is a new kind of
   motorcycle and is supported by a new platform. Honda Hornet 2.0 now joins the Japanese brand’s
   India lineup as the flagship mass market motorcycle.
