New Delhi: Chief Minister Of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal Urged the Recovered Covid-19 Patients to come In front and donate plasma, He said that the demand of the Plasma is higher than the Supply, In regards of this India’s First Plasma Bank Already has started Operations At the Institute of Liver and Biliary Science in the Delhi.

Arvind Kejriwal Address the Press Conference and said, there is a lot of confusion among people On Where they should go for the plasma donation, now they can directly go the plasma bank Since it already has been started, as we need the plasma in a higher amount, and if people don’t come out to donate the plasma we will run out of stock of plasma.

The Delhi CM Urged people to come forward and donate if they have recovered from Corona, as the will be no problem, as the bank is in the noncovered zone and it is completely safe. The government will also provide transport to come to the bank. As they have organized the team to reach out to the patients who have recovered to come out and donate the plasma. They can donate their plans after 14 days of recovery, He added.

However, Delhi has crossed around 1 lakh cases of Covid-19, this is the highest in any city in India, but apart from this, the Recovery rate from this is much better, as 70% of the patients have recovered from the disease. In Delhi, there are approximately 25,000 active cases, and 71,339 patients already have been recovered from this who are eligible to donate the plasma.

In order to donate the plasma, a person should have recovered From Covid-19 for 14 days, it should be in the age bracket of 18-60 and weight above 50 kgs, On the other hand, women who have given birth and people who are suffering from diabetes or hypertension cannot donate their plasma, the entire process of donating the plasma takes almost an hour.
