Parineeti Chopra denied To Work in Hasee Toh Phasee With ‘TV Actor’ Sushant Singh Rajput
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap recently revealed in his tweet how late actor Sushant Singh Rajput made him a ‘ghost’ after agreeing to a project. He also talked about how he played a role in the late actor for Hasee Toh Phase, but he went ahead and signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films. Now during a conversation with journalist Faye D’Souza, he said that Parineeti Chopra did not want to work with the actor TV actor.
Anurag said, “He (Hasee to Phasee) was going to do the film and we had to find an actress and we reached out to Parineeti Chopra. She said, I don’t want to work with the television actor”. So we explained to her that Who is Sushant Singh, he is doing Kai Po Che, he is doing PK and by the time Hasee to Phasee comes out, he will not be just a television actor. And she was doing a film called Shuddh Desi Romance and she was definitely a part of YRF. She went and talked to him, he called her and said, ‘Why don’t you come and do Shuddh desi romance and he doesn’t do films?’ And he disappeared for us. “He said that everyone understood that going with YRF is better for Sushant and so nobody opposed it.
Meanwhile, Parineeti and Sushant were seen together in Shuddh Desi Romance and in Hasee To Phanke, they were seen alongside Siddharth Malhotra.
In 2016, Again Sushant allegedly ghosted Anurag.
